SIOUX FALLS, SD (Jan. 16, 2020) – POET is seeking applications for its 2020 “Never Satisfied” student scholarship program. This year, POET will once again provide 10 students scholarships of up to $5,000 each. The scholarships will be awarded to recipients enrolled in any two-or four-year post-secondary school in the U.S. regardless of major or GPA. Never Satisfied scholars receive up to $5,000 each and will be invited to visit POET’s Sioux Falls headquarters to learn about biofuels and their impact on the environment and the economy.

POET is the largest producer of biofuels in the world and is committed to making the world a better place by producing fossil fuel replacements that will lead to cleaner air, a safer country and brighter future.

“They said biofuels would never change the world. They were wrong. What do they say you’ll never do? How will you prove them wrong?”

Since 2016, POET has awarded 27 scholarships to students who are passionate about changing the world for the better. These students all exhibit ambitious dreams and goals and share POET’s mission to change the world for the better. In 2019, more than 2,100 students from all 50 states applied to the program.

To apply, visit poet.com/scholarships. Applicants must provide their contact and education information as well as answers to questions regarding the student’s commitment to making the world a better place. There is also an opportunity to upload a video telling POET more about what makes the applicant “Never Satisfied” as well as a place to include references. Scholarships are available to students enrolled for the fall semester of 2020. The 2020 scholarship application closes Feb. 14, 2020.
