POET CEO to join panel at Bloomberg New Energy Finance Summit


Jeff Broin to discuss modern ethanol production, new technology

POET CEO Jeff Broin will discuss advancements in ethanol production and the industry’s future at the Bloomberg New Energy Finance Summit 2011 next month in New York.

Broin will take part in a panel discussion titled “Bioenergy Pathways” on April 6, joining Ceres, Inc. President and CEO Richard Hamilton, BP President of Global Biofuels Business Philip New and Novozymes President and Chief Executive Officer Steen Riisgaard.

The Bloomberg New Energy Finance Summit, now in its fourth year, brings together top decision-makers from around the world in the Clean Energy and Carbon markets. This year’s theme is “Innovate, Generate, Integrate” and intends to help attendees identify opportunities and make connections within these markets for success.

The summit runs April 4-7, and will be held at the Pierre Hotel in New York City.
